George McCLung, VMD

George joined the PIGI Lab in May of 2022 after working in both veterinary clinical practice and preclinical translational research. As an alumni of Penn Vet, George has enjoyed coming back to the collaborative research environment at Penn. George is involved with nearly all of the in vivo projects within the lab to ensure the highest quality research while providing the best welfare for the animals that contribute to our work.

At home, George has a gaggle of dogs who love the outdoors, and a cabal of cats, who don't.
